Suffering happens. If anyone tells you it doesn’t they’re lying. Suffering comes for us all, but there’s a purpose for it. When we can avert our eyes from what is lost or what we are suffering through THEN suffering has the uncanny ability to allow us to see the bigger picture and what actually lasts eternally.

Prayer Focus:

ADORE God for his sovereignty and control over all things
CONFESS the ways that you’ve viewed suffering in the past.
THANK God for anything that brings us closer to Jesus… even if it hurts
SUPPLICATE (beg) God to help you see the why behind your sufferings either in the past or the present
SILENTLY reflect on 2 Corinthians 4.17-18
