For the Christian, there is a war always going on for your soul.

Your sin nature is at war with the Spirit in you.

It’s almost like two dogs inside of you. Whichever you feed the most will win the most. Whichever you starve will lose. Feed the Spirit and holiness will follow. Feed the sin nature and the Enemy will win.

1 Peter 2:11

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. (ESV)

ADORE God for His holiness and sinless perfection
CONFESS your sinfulness to God
THANK God for the hope that He’s given through His son
SUPPLICATE (Beg) God for help abstaining from the passions of the flesh
