1 John 2.2
“He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.”
The word propitiation means “to be made righteous”.
Are you righteous on your own? What does God say about our righteousness in Isaiah 64:6?
According to John what makes you righteous?
When you think about this situation that your sins aren’t just taken away (expiation), but you are made righteous what goes on inside your heart?
Take a few minutes this week and specifically ask God to open your eyes to the huge truth. Thank God for making you righteous!
