Reversing Religion

Beginnings is the message series working through the first chapter of the Gospel of Mark.  It shares who Jesus was and how his ministry began.  The series challenges you to think about your response to who Jesus is and what He’s done.  In order to aid in the spiritual growth of our listeners we are providing an Inductive Bible Study devotional.  Those are attached below.

Christmas at CityView

In September, Pastor Jason will begin working through the book of Philippians. As CityView moves forward, it’s important that we look at how scripture says to work and journey together, and why God says that journeying together is important. As CityView learns and grows together, these messages are meant to serve as a reminder that Christ-likeness is the destination of a lifelong walk, and that by grace, we’re blessed to take that path in community with one another.

Join us this month as we learn more about how to Journey together.

20/20- The Vision of CityView Church

This August, CityView will reach back to the core values and ideas that led to it’s planting in West Pearland. CityView was commissioned in September 2013, with a vision to make gospel-centered disciples and to plant 100 churches in Houston in the next 25 years. In the almost three years since, CityView has continued to strive towards those goals, and we’ll spend Sundays in August focused on how God’s vision for CityView has shaped our first steps, and how it will continue to shape us going forward. Clarity of vision is essential- join us as we take a closer look at what CityView is called to be.

Grow in July!

This July we want CityView to GROW!  Specifically, our hope is to see CityView grow in three specific ways.

First, we want CityView to grow in our understanding of the vision.  CityView exists to make gospel-centered disciples of Jesus and plant 100 churches in 25 years.  That vision is big and beyond us.  During July we are going to take steps to unpack what that means and what that looks like over the coming months.

Second, we want CityView to grow in its service to our area.  We will be hosting a mission team from Paris, TX and we will be teaming together to go into south Brazoria county.  Due to the recent flooding down there we have a lot of opportunity to serve people in need.  If you are interested in being a part of these relief efforts email Pastor Jason at

Third, we want to introduce our elder candidates.  These men are undergoing training in order to come into the leadership of CityView Church.  They are outstanding men with outstanding families, who love Jesus and His church.  They’ll be preaching throughout the month of July.

On July 24th is our baby dedication.  If you’d like to dedicate your children please fill out the form here.
